1.  Director
No. of Vacancies - 01
Essential Qualification – Candidate should have completed Post Graduation with B+ from recognized University and at least 10 year experience.
Age Limit - 45 to 65 years.
Desirable – Doctorate degree in any Faculty/ Subject
Salary - Rs. 60,198/- (Fixed) Per Month.
2. Assistant Director (Administration and System)
No. of Vacancies- 01
Essential Qualification - Post Graduation in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 55% marks and one year experience in software development.
Salary – Rs. 27, 432/- (Fixed) Per Month.
3.  Lecturer
Number of Vacancies and Subject – History – 01, Philosophy – 01
Essential Qualification –  Master degree in relevant subject with at least 55 % marks and from recognized University. Candidate should be also qualified in NET/SLET/SET.
Salary – Rs. 27, 432/- Per Month.
4. Accounts Assistant
No. of Vacancies – 01
Educational Qualification  - Graduation in Commerce or diploma in financial accounting.
Desirable - one year experience in relevant area.
Salary- A fixed amount of Rs. 13, 335/- (Fixed) Per Month.
Nature of Job - Contractual Basis.

B.Ed Admission-2012
Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET-2012) for the year 2012 will be conducted by for admission into B.Ed regular course in Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2012-2013 ,Interested eligible candidates may obtain prescribed application form with instructions booklet in person on payment of Rs 150/- in cash from the designated Head Post Offices and designated Axis Bank Branches in Andhra Pradesh
Eligibility EdCET-2012: The candidates should have passed B.A./B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc (Home Science)/BCA/BBM examination from any University in Andhra Pradesh or a recognized University out side Andhra Pradesh
The candidates who are appearing for final year degree examinations in 2012 are also eligible to appear for entrance examination
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the bachelor’s degree or in the master’s degree in the relevant subject or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission into B.Ed course
However the candidates belonging to all reserved categories should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination

• The qualifying mark in the entrance test for all candidates is 37 out of 150 (25%)
• For the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities there will be no qualifying marks for ranking
• There will be no qualifying marks for women in the subjects of Physical Sciences and Mathematics
• The candidates should have completed 19 years of age as on 01st July, 2012

The prescribed application form, for the entrance test together with instructions booklet can be obtained in person on payment of Rs 150/- in cash from the designated Head Post Offices; e-Seva centers; and designated Axis Bank Branches in Andhra Pradesh

Sale of application forms: Prescribed printed application form along with OMR cum ICR application form and information booklet can be had across the counters from all the Head Post Offices and the University Post Offices in the State of Andhra Pradesh
The application forms can also be had from designated main Branches of AXIS Bank outlets in Andhra Pradesh for details of branches visit websites
Submission of application forms: Filled-in application forms should be submitted along with relevant documents to the Convener, Ed.CET-2012, Examination Block (Ground Floor), A.U College of Engineering (A), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam-530003, Andhra Pradesh, either in person or by speed/registered post only on or before 23rd April, 2012, 5.00 p.m.
Submission of filled in applications online: Applications also can be submitted online
However, a copy of the application downloaded along with two passport size photographs and demand draft for Rs 150/- drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favor of the Secretary, APSCHE, payable at Hyderabad, must be sent to the Convener, Ed.CET-2012, Examination Block (Ground Floor), A.U College of Engineering (A), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam-530003 on or before 23rd April, 2012, 5.00 p.m.
