Note: In addition to the qualification and experience prescribed as above for each position higher training in irrigation water management at a recognized training institute and experience in training in service of Government Departments at National or State level Organization with knowledge of KANNADA LANGUAGE are preferred.

Qualification and Experience:
- Professor:
- A Ph.D Degree in the concerned subject with a published work of high quality actively engaged in teaching experience in research and extension at University/ National Level Institutions with a minimum of 10 years of experience which should include a minimum of five years of experience at the Associate Professor’s cadre or its equivalent position in the concerned subject.
- Associate Professor
- A Ph.D Degree in the concerned subject with a published work of high quality actively engaged in teaching experience in research and extension at University/ National Level Institutions
- Five (05) years experience in Teaching, Research and Extension in the cadre of Assistant Professor or its equivalent in the concerned subject.
- Assistant Professor
