अल्पसंख्यकों के लिए आरक्षण

• सरकार ने अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग (ओबीसी) के 27 फीसदी आरक्षण में अल्पसंख्यकों के लिए 4.5 फीसदी कोटा आरक्षित करने का फैसला किया है। अल्पसंख्यकों के लिए आरक्षण का यह कोटा 1 जनवरी 2012 से लागू होगा। राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्यक आयोग अधिनियम, 1992 की धारा 2-C के अनुसार अल्पसंख्यकों में मुस्लिम, सिख, बौद्ध, ईसाई, पारसी समुदाय शामिल हैं। प्रदेश में अल्पसंख्यकों की जनसंख्या मुसलमान (9.5 प्रतिशत कुल जनसंख्या का), सिख (8 प्रतिशत) एवं बौद्ध, ईसाई और अन्य समुदाय (1.5 प्रतिशत) हैं।

• 5 राज्यों में चुनावी बिगुल बज गया है। चुनाव आयोग ने यहां मतदान और मतगणना की तिथियों की घोषणा भी कर दी गई है। उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य की 403 सीटों पर यहां चुनाव 7 चरणों में कराए जाएंगे। पहले चरण में मतदान 4 फरवरी को कराए जाएंगे। पंजाब में 117 सीटों पर चुनाव 30 जनवरी को होंगे। वहीं इसी दिन उत्तराखंड की 70 सीटों के लिए चुनाव होने हैं। मणिपुर में चुनाव 28 जनवरी को होंगे। गोवा में सबसे आखिर में 3 मार्च को चुनाव होने हैं।

• रूस में संसद के निचले सदन डयूमा चुनाव में हुई कथित धांधलियों की जांच की मांग एवं प्रधानमंत्री व्लादिमीर पुतिन के एकछत्रवादी शासन को लेकर यहां पर जनप्रदर्शनों का दौर थमता नहीं दिख रहा है और रूस की राजधानी मास्को में शनिवार को हजारों लोगों ने जनप्रदर्शन में शिरकत की।

राजस्थान लोक सेवा आयोग ने सन 2012 सालाना कैलेंडर

• राजस्थान लोक सेवा आयोग ने सन 2012 में होने वाली परीक्षाओं का प्रस्तावित सालाना कैलेंडर जारी कर दिया है।

• आयोग ने स्पष्ट किया है कि परीक्षा के वास्तविक माह एवं तिथि आयोग द्वारा जारी विशिष्ट सूचना से ही प्रामाणिक होगी। पदों की संख्या भी विज्ञप्ति के अधीन परिवर्तित हो सकती है।
